In maths,we have been learning about the names and properties or 2D and 3D shapes. We have been learning about interesting words like edges, faces and vertices. I have created fact cards about different 2D and 3D shapes. Check out my slides!
For literacy this week, We have written a letter about crayon quitting their jobs. We have learnt how to publish it by animating our voices on Adobe Express. We took inspiration from the picture book ‘The day the crayons quit’ by Drew Daywalt. Check out my video!
We are going on camp next week. We have been doing lots of activities to get us prepared. This is one of the activities we did.
We have been learning about etymology and what it is. It is all about word origins (where it comes from) and what they mean. I chose the word “Holiday” to complete my etymology study on.
In Hīnaki 2, we have been learning about statistical data and graphs. We have created
a survey, collected the data and created paper and digital graphs.
